ARTIST'S BIO June Sekiguchi was born in Fayetteville, Arkansas in 1961. She earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Studio Art from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 1983. June maintained a studio while raising three children and owning and directing the Issaquah Monart Drawing School from 1996-2000. She lives on Squak Mountain near Seattle, Washington where her work continually evolves, seeking new tools, mediums, and concepts. She has exhibited her work in Arkansas, Texas, California, Oregon and Washington.
